The company UNIPLAST Pardubice spol. s r.o. is responsible for the environmental impact of its activities. The company's development is based on harmonious balance between economic growth and environmental protection.

The company is aware of its responsibility towards the future generation. The way to implement this responsibility is set out in the Company's Policy, including environmental protection, and also in the relationship to health & safety at work, which declares the Company's commitment to sustainable environmental protection and to establishing the conditions for its improvement. The company's management has established the following profile for the presentation, monitoring and evaluation of indicators that are relevant to environmental protection in connection with the company's activities:
  • to create a climatically comfortable and stable working environment, both in summer and winter, with a positive impact on the health of employees and the smooth running of the production process
  • to reduce energy consumption on the plants by using energy-saving appliances and lighting systems. Monitor and evaluate the energy consumption of the plants (water, gas, electricity) and continuously seek savings through technical solutions
  • prevent normal breakdowns of machinery and equipment, and avoid possible environmental accidents, by using the correct maintenance system
  • reduce the amount of waste and environmental pollution and ensure safe waste management, including disposal by authorised companies
  • to operate in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14 001 in all areas and activities and to ensure environmental protection and to follow established procedures so that no complaint is made against the company's environmental performance and the company is not subject to any sanction
  • ensure regular education and training of employees as one of the ways to minimise risks related to environmental hazards
  • waste material is not to be landfilled but to be used for further processing, e.g. by regranulation
  • prefer to select suppliers as subcontractors who are certified according to ISO 14 001 and who are environmentally friendly - select suppliers of equipment and services affecting the environment according to established criteria and verify their competence and qualifications on an ongoing basis
  • by taking proper care of the hydraulic systems of the machines and using monitoring methods, to extend the hydraulic oil change interval (approximately 10,000 litres in the machines) and reduce the amount of hazardous waste
  • ensure that vehicles are regularly serviced by authorised workshops to minimise air pollution from vehicle and machine emissions and to prevent leakages of operating fluids, especially oil
  • to return unusable pallets (or sell them back to the supplier) for further use or to composting facilities
  • when purchasing new cars, to take into account the vehicle's emissions
The management of the company fully identifies with the principles set out in this Environmental Profile and is committed to continuously creating the conditions and providing the necessary resources for its systematic implementation.

UNIPLAST Pardubice spol. s r.o. hereby agrees to implement the elements of its Environmental Profile. The results of internal audits, analyses and findings from certification audits will be continuously discussed in the company management with the target of continuous improvement of environmental behaviour.
