3D scanning

We have our own development capabilities, so we can offer you:
  • assistance in the development of your plastic parts using our experience with the behaviour of plastics
  • mold-flow analysis of material creep in the mold - CADMOULD 7.0 3D-F software
-> estimates of deformation, cold joints, fiber orientation,....
  • prototype production by SLS 3D printing (selective laser sintering)
    - which is one of the most technically advanced 3D printing technologies - the final part has similar mechanical properties to the injection moulded part
  • production of tools and moulds in our own toolshop
  • serial production of parts in our own injection moulding plant
  • assembly, printing, ultrasonic welding,...

do You know?
Printing a 3D part isn't so easy. If you don't have a model in STL format, you first need to convert it (or we can do it from most formats), then you need to upload your model to the printer, which will divide it into individual layers according to the material used, and after heated and warmed up the base material (about 3-4 hours), the 3D printer will start layering and laser sintering them together. 3D printing is a relatively slow process - on our machine we print about 17mm per hour (in height). After printing, the part needs to cool down properly - up to several hours depending on the size of the part to avoid deformations. Afterwards, we take it out and sand it to get any remaining material off.
l

  • one of the best 3D printing technologies - SLS (selective laser sintering), where the material is layered in 0.12mm layers and laser sintered where needed
  • the mechanical properties are similar to the moulded part (the material does not break down as with glued technologies)
  • maximum print size: 300x300x600mm
  • layers ( impacting the accuracy of the part, surface roughness and linework on inclined surfaces): 0.12mm
  • printing speed: up to 17mm/hr.
  • input format: 3D in STL
  • materials: PA, PA with glass, PA with aluminium

tip
Many parts can be printed at once, simply stacked in the printer software, reducing printing time per part. Of course, this makes printing multiple parts at once more cost-effective.
